There has been lots of developments from PSUK to digest lately and I would
suggest you get logged onto the PSUK Portal via the website, and have a
look if you haven’t already. I did just that last week and I took a look at the
new ‘Drug Tariff’ tab. I thought it was worth a chat through.
I love the fact that PSUK are continuously developing tools that are
designed to either improve the dispensing process or to make the process
of making money easier. Big pat on the back PSUK as it would be easy just
to wear your wholesaler hat and say job done! Instead, you keep trying to
make our lives easier – thank you!
The new Drug Tariff tab has been developed to help alleviate the anxiety
around concessions. I have to say that I can’t quite understand this anxiety,
as prices that raise above tariff price are usually catered for adequately
when concession prices are published each month, but never-the-less this
still appears to remain an area of concern in dispensing practice.
For those of you that are new to dispensing practice or just don’t know
what on earth I am talking about, let me go back to basics.
