transformative,” says Julie. “Practices are more focused on profitability than ever
before, and we’ve had to step up our game to meet their needs.”

At the heart of PSUK’s success is its commitment to providing members with
the tools and support they need to thrive. “Our loss-making report is a game-
changer,” explains Sarah. “It allows us to give bespoke advice to every practice,
helping them save costs and improve margins. We’re not just a supplier—we’re
a partner in their success.”
Julie agrees, emphasising the importance of staying connected. “We’re here to
be used. Whether it’s advice on product lines, help with ICB (Integrated Care
Board) requirements, or navigating National Insurance changes, our members
know they can rely on us. We’re like an additional member of their team.”
With over 100 years of combined experience within the PSUK team, members
benefit from unparalleled expertise. “We’ve seen it all,” says Sarah. “From the
shift to digital systems to the rise of patient demand for high-cost items,
we’ve been there to guide practices through every challenge.”
Growing with the times
PSUK’s ability to adapt has been key to its longevity. “When I first joined,
there were only a handful of us,” recalls Sarah. “Now, we’re the market leader,
delivering over 50% of products to dispensing practices across the UK. That’s
a testament to our growth and the trust our members place in us.”
The launch of Discount Partners is just one example of how PSUK continues
to innovate. “It’s come at the perfect time,” says Julie. “With practices facing
rising costs and tighter margins, Discount Partners offers a way to save money
without compromising on quality.”
Looking ahead
As PSUK celebrates its 20th anniversary, the focus remains firmly on the
future. “Our goal is to keep evolving to meet the needs of our members,” says
Sarah.
