As 2025 draws to a close, the landscape for dispensing doctors remains as
challenging as ever. Increased costs and declining generic re-imbursement have
all contributed to dispensaries looking at their margins. Unrelenting pressures and
staffing challenges amid growing item numbers continue to test the resilience of
the sector. However, through all of this, PSUK has been committed to developing
and evolving the proposition for members to help them navigate this challenging
environment, and we will continue to do so in order to enable our members to take
advantage of the opportunities available to them.

This year we have continued to drive the proposition to enable members to make
informed decisions around prescribing (both from a cost and profit perspective), to
drive efficiencies in the dispensary and ensure that we continue to offer the best
commercial opportunities in the market.

But we’re not stopping here. As we look ahead to 2026, we remain focused on helping
you achieve even greater success. By further enhancing our propositions, introducing
new technologies to drive efficiencies, and driving collaboration. We aim to open
even more doors for dispensing doctors—not just to compete in this demanding
marketplace, but to lead it.
