Pharmacies are required to verify and where necessary,
Stress Awareness update the information contained in their NHS website
Month profile and their Directory of Services (DoS) profile using the
Profile Manager at least each quarter of the financial year.
Testicular Cancer This is a mandatory requirement for all contractors.

1. Workforce Enabler Declaration – 30th April
Declare on NECAF the number of hours of staffing at each
Bowel Cancer training banding level per annum for up to two members of
Awareness Month staff. Payments are made monthly, pro-rata against 37.5
hour week.

World Health Day 2. Continuity Scheme – 30th April
Declare on the WP34C for the relevant month that:
Number of days CAS was available - eligible for a
22nd – 28th payment of £210.59 if 80% or more. Number of days the
Allergy Awarness Contraception Service was available - eligible for a payment
of £210.59 if 80% or more.

3. Independent Prescribing Claims – 30th April
24th April For pharmacies offering Independent Prescribing (IP)
On Your Feet Britain services declare the number of hours availability and number
of consultations that month.
25th April 4. Dispensing Compensation Mechanism – 30th April
World Malaria Day A dispensing compensation payment is available to
contractors who see a monthly prescription volume
decrease of over 7% due to GP prescribing adjustments that
increase treatment periods. This decrease is compared to
the average prescription volume from April 2021 to March
2022 (the reference period), adjusted by an additional 1.59%.
