APM – The smart
way to buy generics:
Best price, all month,
zero hassle
We’re often asked how our APM scheme works, and why there’s no net price list or visible
pricing on our portal when ordering. The answer is simple: we actively monitor the market to
ensure our members get the best price at the end of the month, from pack one.
£40 APM (Active Price Management) is designed specifically for dispensing practices to help them
navigate an unpredictable generic market. It ensures PSUK members get the best monthly
price from the first pack purchased as prices fall throughout the month
£35
How it works
£30
• Members are invoiced at a fixed screen price.
• Throughout the month, we track market movements.
£25 • At month-end, we rebate all purchases down to the final
net price at the end point of that month if the price has
declined, even those purchased at the start of the month.

With the generic pricing market in decline – as it has been for the past 12 months, it means
you’ll never lose out financially for those purchases at the beginning of the month. Unlike other
schemes that publish a net price on the 1 and adjust as the month progresses, leaving you
st
with potentially multiple prices charged for the same molecule throughout the month, APM
ensures consistent, competitive pricing based on the final price in the month on all purchases.
Members are invoiced the screen price then rebated down to the final price that molecule
lands on at the end of the month, meaning you are getting the cheapest price whether you
order on the 1 of the month or the 31 .
