Why preparation matters
more than ever
With the Professional Standards
Authority (PSA) recently publishing
its annual performance review of the
Pharmaceutical Society of Northern
Ireland (PSNI), the message for
pharmacies is clear: expectations are
rising. The review, covering January to
December 2024, found that the PSNI
met just 11 out of 18 Standards of
Good Regulation highlighting areas
where improvement is needed, and
scrutiny is likely to follow.
For McAreavey Pharmacy, this
provided the perfect motivation to
take proactive steps and Numark’s
Regulatory Health Check was just the
support they needed.
