Nexplanon – PADM status change
From 1st January 2025, the PADM Indicator for Nexplanon 68mg Implant was updated to “Attracts
an administration fee”. Now that Nexplanon is classed as a Personally Administered Item, practices
will automatically get a PAI allowance for Nexplanon prescriptions, moving the line from a non-
profitable line to a profitable one.
