Welcome to December’s

issue of PS magazine.

As we approach the end of this whirlwind year, it’s
time to both reflect on the past twelve months
and eagerly anticipate a new year, brimming with
opportunities.
For now, many of us are turning our thoughts to the
festive season—Christmas, mince pies, and the
cherished moments spent away from the dispensary,
surrounded by family and friends.
The year 2024 has been a bustling one for the PSUK
team. We’ve launched several new propositions and
refined existing ones, all with the aim of boosting
member margins, cutting costs, and enhancing
efficiencies. These efforts are particularly crucial in
light of the ongoing challenges faced by practices and
the NHS. For a detailed look at our accomplishments
over the past year, be sure to check out page XX.
This year, we also hosted two PSUK live Conference
+ Exhibitions with remarkable success, drawing over
300 delegates over two days. Alongside these, our 32
study days for members have clearly demonstrated
the growing appetite among dispensing practices to
deepen their understanding of their dispensaries and
spot opportunities. For the first time, some of these
events were so popular that we had to implement a
waiting list!
Looking ahead to 2025, there’s plenty of optimism in
the air. Simplifying the dispensary will be essential,
and harnessing technology presents an exciting
chance to achieve significant efficiencies. Solutions
like Golden Tote have the potential to revolutionise
the dispensing process. Our planned propositions will
bring more benefits, transforming the way you work
and interact with us, while also helping to reduce
costs and improve margins.

I’d like to take this opportunity to wish all our
members a joyful festive season and a prosperous
New Year—I hope to catch up with many of you in 2025!
