The day began with a warm welcome to all attendees
by Managing Director of PSUK, Simon Coles.
He touched on the challenges faced this year in
dispensing practice, and how the presentations
from the days conference and interacting with the
exhibitors, would give valuable understandings into
how members could navigate the challenges.
Presentations were held throughout the day to a
room full of engaged delegates, from PHOENIX
colleagues and industry experts including Nigel
Swift, Deputy MD for PHOENIX UK, Caroline Pond,
NHS Partnership Clinical Director for Chase People,
Mark Gibbons from NHS Prescription Services and
Phil Edwards Head of Pharmaceutical Services and
Principle Pharmacist for the NHSBSA.
Delegates also got the chance to book on to one
of three break-out workshops, where they explored
practical approaches to improving patient care and
practice management, sparking lively exchanges and
valuable insights into the evolving dispensing doctor
landscape. Topics covered were understanding Pas,
leveraging social media in practice and mastering
managerial skills.
In between the presentations and workshops,
delegates got the opportunity to interact with 20
of our manufacturing partners who were on hand
exhibiting, each offering something beneficial for our
member’s dispensaries. In particular, it was fantastic
to see so many of our members visiting the Golden
Tote stand and seeing first hand a live action demo of
how the innovative dispensary solution works!
As the event concluded, we extended our sincere
thanks to all attendees for their active participation
and contributions. Their engagement emphasised the
power of collaboration and shared learning in driving
positive changes within the healthcare community.
The PSUK live Conference + Exhibition, North 2024
was an undeniable success, marked by meaningful
conversations, practical skills, and stronger
connections. Attendees departed with fresh ideas,
inspiration, and a renewed commitment to advancing
healthcare excellence.
We look forward to seeing
you all again in 2025!
