Mustafakulov Sherzod Igamberdievich
Brief autobiography. Mustafakulov Sherzod Igamberdievich - was
born on September 27, 1977 in the city of Kattakorgan, Samarkand
region. In 1991, he graduated from the 2nd secondary school named
after Ochildimurod Miri with honors and entered the Kattakurgan City
Trade Technical College. After successfully completing his studies, in
1994, he was admitted to the first course of the "Construction
Management" course at the Samarkand State Institute of Architecture
and Construction. In 2001, Sherzod Mustafakulov, who graduated
from the institute with honors, was admitted to the graduate school of
the Tashkent State University of Economics.
Scientific activity. In 2005, he defended his candidate's thesis on the specialty 08.00.04 - Microeconomics
(Agro-Industrial Complex) at the Institute of Market Reforms. In 2017, at the Academy of Banking and
Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan, he defended his doctoral dissertation (DSc) on the specializations
08.00.02 - Macroeconomics and 08.00.07 - Finance, money circulation and credit. To date, Sh. Mustafakulov
has published more than 100 articles, textbooks, training manuals, scientific and popular pamphlets. Also, 3
scientific articles were published in foreign journals included in the Scopus database. Until now, under his
guidance, one Doctor of Science (DSc) and 3 Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) dissertations in economics have
been defended.
Pedagogical activity. From 2005 to 2009, he worked as an assistant, senior teacher and associate professor at
the "Economics of Networks" department of the Tashkent State University of Economics. From 2009 to 2012,
he worked as the director of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies of TSEU, and from 2012 to
2013, he worked as the head of the "Industrial Economy" department of TSEU.
In 2013-2017, he worked as the head of the "Investments" department of the Academy of Banking and Finance
of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the dean of the Faculty of Retraining and Advanced Training. From 2017
to 2020, he worked as the vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations of TDIU and the director of the
"University 3.0" international scientific and innovative research center. In 2020-2022, he worked as the rector
of Kokand University. Since 2022, he has been working as the rector of Nordic International University.
Sh. Mustafakulov has improved his skills in a number of foreign countries as part of the Erasmus+ project, in
particular, in Germany in 2011, in Luxembourg in 2013, and in 2014-2015, he completed a scientific internship
at the Alexander Institute of Technologies and Education of Greece.
In 2020-2022, Sh. Mustafakulov is the chairman of the Scientific Council numbered
PhD.03/31.12.2020.I.130.01, which awards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences
at Kokand University, and the editor-in-chief of the scientific-practical journal "Kokand University Bulletin".
At the moment, Sh. Mustafakulov is the chairman of the Scientific Council numbered
PhD.03/29.12.2022.I.157.01, which awards the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in economic sciences
at Nordic International University, and the editor-in-chief of the scientific-practical journal "Nordic".
