Blythe Bridge Rotary has within its club a member whose son is married to a Ukrainian. Her father
is taking some surgical staplers and staples to a hospital in Kyiv. The journey includes flying from
Luton to Warsaw followed by a coach journey to Kyiv.

The club purchased the supplies from Medical Sutures Ltd who kindly gave a discount. The company
generously included many other additional items of medical equipment free of charge. There is
currently an urgent need for these in Ukraine.

Blythe Bridge Rotary are making an appeal to the
public and companies to donate any size
generators, and will collect them from anywhere.
Transportation has kindly been promised to
transport them out to Slovenia by Gareth Higgins
the Managing Director of KMF Fabrications of
Newcastle free of charge.
