3B – Jason Donald – Acquired from Cleveland in the off season he is
competing for one of the bench spots on the 25-man roster. One bright
spot for Jason is that he has had more walks during spring training than
strike outs.
1B – Donald Lutz – Lutz was assigned to the Pensacola Blue Wahoos and
will be getting plenty of duty. Lutz is a super guy with a great attitude.

P – Daniel Corcino – Optioned to AAA Louisville Bats, Corcino has great
potential for the near future.
P – Tony Cingrani – Also optioned to AAA Louisville Bats, this young
pitcher has a future with the Reds.
The Reds Active Roster comprises 25 players. Only spring training
determined the last couple of spots. Barring injuries, the Reds appear to
have a great team and one that can be better yet with some of the fine
young prospects that they can call upon when needed. CsC
