In the very early days Human Resource
Management (HRM) was not considered
an important part of an organization but
now without HRM department an
organization cannot be administered
successfully. Human Resource
Management has proven to be an
important practice in managing
organizations. (Mimbeva, 2005)viewed
HRM practices as a set of practices used
by organizations to manage human
resources through facilitating the
development of competencies that are
unique to the organization, creating
complex social relations and generating
organization knowledge to sustain
competitive advantage.
