P. 15
As a strategic initiative, SELECTA’s Co-Marketing Programs are designed to enable SELECTA’s national network of
DISTRIBUTOR PARTNERS to utilize as a cost-free resource; consultative and customized digital marketing support
for bundling their brand-building efforts with their external marketing campaigns and sales initiatives.
Digital Co-Marketing Programs are a recognizably subtle, yet proven modern means to generate awareness and
demand, and offer an effectively efficient return to any marketing investment. Benefiting all parties involved,
SELECTA’s Co-Marketing Programs are created to deliver these benefits at no cost to the DISTRIBUTOR PARTNER.
They are designed specifically to support each DISTRIBUTOR PARTNER in their overall prudent marketing and
business plan efforts.
As a DISTRIBUTOR PARTNER, qualifying as a Performance Brand Partner, you will receive your co-branded digital
marketing materials at no cost to your company. To qualify, you need to minimally stock the product and agree to
utilize the requested product marketing materials to promote to your customer base and/or target customer base.
For each co-marketing Brand/Product program, the co-marketing digital assets include:
(1) the product(s) brand imaging and logo, along with product information,
(2) your company brand logo, slogan, and contact information, and
(3) SELECTA with logo being referenced only as “Partnering with Electrical Market Distributors”.
HOW IT WORKS
Requests and Submissions
• A DISTRIBUTOR PARTNER requests from SELECTA, their choice of Co-Marketing materials, by filling out
a Co-Marketing Performance Partners Request Form and submitting it via email to sales@selectainc.com.
• Submissions will be reviewed in the order they are received within two weeks of submission, by SELECTA.
• The PARTNER’s Brand/Product(s) marketing plan is simply outlined in the Request Form and is reviewed
by the SELECTA Sales and Marketing Team. From there, it is either approved or may receive minimal
suggested amendments addressing the PARTNER’s commitment plan. These may include:
(1) simply defining the “use” of marketing materials and/or,
(2) term of the marketing event and/or,
(3) the store(s) Brand product positioning involvement.
• Partner may consult the SELECTA Co-Marketing Utilization Guidelines for details.
Creative and Implementation
For creative and implementation suggestions, your SELECTA Regional Sales Manager will schedule a call
between SELECTA and PARTNER to discuss the program’s general logistics, strategy, creative, and
implementation. SELECTA Sales and Marketing Team members are additionally available to help PARTNERS
improve on planned activities and programs for maximizing outcomes.
Approvals and Production
• Applications are approved on a first-come, first-served basis and go through a short approval process.
• When approved, the PARTNER will be notified by a SELECTA Sales and Marketing Team member.
• Approved submissions are quickly placed on a production priority list.
• When production is completed and proofed, PARTNER is emailed digital marketing materials.
Post Program Steps
• Once the program has been fully implemented and matured, SELECTA will reach out to the PARTNER
to review for feedback.
• SELECTA’s Regional Sales Manager will incorporate related feedback commentary into SELECTA’s Sales
& Marketing Overview for discussions and suggestions during future SELECTA/ DISTRIBUTOR one-on-one
meetings.
