3M Cold Shrink Three Conductor Breakout Kit 3C-BOK Series

The 3M™ Cold Shrink Three Conductor Breakout Kit includes everything you need to use 3M™ Single Conductor Accessories on three conductor cables;
ultimately, this offers you much greater flexibility for 3/C medium voltage applications – especially in tight spaces. Based on field-proven cold shrink
technology pioneered by 3M and 40+ years of experience, the Breakout Kit is easy and quick to install, even in confined spaces – with no special tools,
torch/flame or hot permits required. These kits, when used with our 1/C Terminations, allow for a much shorter overall install length than is possible with
our “3G” series kits (3M™ Cold Shrink QT-III Termination Kit 3G Series)– and with fewer parts.
There are many other possible configurations for these Breakout Kits (e.g. with more or less rejacketing, etc.), and 3M can custom package these kits to fit
your needs.
Kit Contents Medium Voltage Terminations,
Use one Breakout Kit (BOK) per three-conductor cable. Each Breakout Kit contains the following appropriately sized components and accessories.
2 1 Cold Shrink Silicone Rubber Breakout Boot (includes 2 Strips Scotch® Mastic Strip 2230)
2 3 Silicone Rubber Phase Rejacketing Sleeve (RJS) Assemblies (4 ft. length each)
2 1 Constant Force Spring (Large) - for armored cable only
2 1 Long Tail Tinned Copper Ground Braid with Solder Block - for armored cable only
2 3 Strips Scotch® Mastic Strip 2230 (black with white release liner, bagged)
2 1 Roll Scotch® Super 33+™ Vinyl Electrical Tape, 3/4 IN.
2 1 Roll Scotch® Electrical Shielding Tape 24 - for armored cable only
