Mines’ goal to further evolve to be a more pedestrian-oriented campus means more reliance on
walks and pedestrian malls as conveyors of pedestrians, bicycles, and service and emergency
efficient manner possible. It is also important that the materials and dimensions of each walk
flow so that outdoor spaces can be activated, and destinations can be accessed in the most
vehicles. Socializing outdoor spaces is also a key goal. The master plan carefully analyzed
enough to accommodate pedestrians, bicycles, and service and emergency vehicles.
