Gladly we pray, Prayer is a gate,
Gladly we praise, On it we swing
Gladly to God Sometimes, our thoughts
Our longings raise; Just wandering;
Sure of God’s love, But when we need
Needing God’s grace, Heart for the road
Meeting God face to face. Prayer opens wide to God.

Hear, then, our praise,
Heed then our prayer,
Lord of the here
And everywhere:
We put our lives
Where they belong:
You are our hope and song!
