AND STRENGTH
FOR PUTTING LIBERATION
INTO ACTION.

God of life-giving water,
we pray for all harmed by water exploitation, pollution, drought and flood:
for all living in squalor, devastation and fear;
for women and children who travel daily to carry water home;
for those whose lives are risked on the seas;
for all who depend on others for a cup of water;
for all who work towards the justice of clean water for everyone.
God of life-giving water,
hear our prayer.

Blessing of the Easter garden

Risen Christ,
as Mary Magdalene met you in the resurrection garden,
so may we meet you
in this sacred space
of birthing, growth
and hope.

With you we bless this garden,
the gardens around us,
and the earth we care for.
Bless those who prepared this garden,
those who tend the gardens of this house (village/town/city)
and all who enjoy them.

Through the gifts you have given,
inspire us to live the resurrection
through our responsibility to the earth.
