TEA TABLE TALK & BOOK BRUNCH SIGNING
Submitted by Tamara Grant, Chair, Community Partnerships She REaDy—Tiffany Haddish hangs out with the Embrace
Girls and BCAC DST members!
Comedienne, actress, author and activist Tiffany Haddish dropped by the Casino at Dania Beach on May 26th for her “Big Book Party” with The Embrace Girls Foundation to promote her latest book, I Curse You with Joy, and discuss her life in the foster care system, navigating the Hollywood scene and updating everyone on the latest moves in her life.
Because of our chapter’s Community Partnership with TEGF, BCAC members were privy to a special meet-and-greet with Haddish, along with picture-taking, book-signing, brunch and discussion. As you can see, Sorors had a great time at the event!
That’s our own Soror Tamara Gant, Chair of Community Partnerships and 24-year board member of TEGF, on stage with Velma Lawrence, CEO and Executive Director of Embrace Girls Foundation and the night’s Title Sponsor, Steven G. from Interiors by Steven G.
