DEIDRA E. JOHNSON, MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
Membership Services is a Lifetime Commitment and we stand strong and in unity as we fellowshipped in 2023- 2024. We kicked off the year with our "Back to Basics: Boots and Heels on the Ground" Round Up, setting the pace for a year filled with bonding and supportive experiences. We gathered at monthly meetings, went to the park for a picnic, worshipped together in the community, celebrated the many accomplishments of sorors, bid farewell to members, celebrated the Delta DEARS, hosted a Secret Soror activity, participated in activities supporting youth programs, and connected through various sisterly gatherings, among other activities. Closing out the program year was exciting and a good way to prepare for the Regional Conference held in Nashville, TN. You, the members, made it all possible because you are the heart and soul of our chapter – Communication, Appreciation, Relate, and Elevate (C.A.R.E.).
We love you and are back with a new travel itinerary as we are "Taking Flight" for 2024-2025. Our focus is sisterly engagement to strengthen who we are in the present and for the future, which is at the top of our flight plan. We still want you and welcome Reclaimed passengers to join us as we continue the work of Delta. Take Off with us on August 10, 2024, at Round Up as "Flight 1955" moves down the runway to fly into a new sororal year.
ROSELYN F. HONYGHAN, PROGRAM PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT
The shift from "Boots and Heels on the Ground" to "Taking Flight" signifies a significant evolution in our Program Planning and Development. Initially, our approach was characterized by direct, grassroots community engagement. Now, we have embraced digital transformation, enhanced visibility, strategic collaborations, and data-driven decision-making. By leveraging online platforms, virtual events, and social media, we aim to reach a wider audience and increase the impact of our programs. This shift, strengthened by partnerships and continuous feedback, ensures that our programs remain relevant, innovative, and effective in addressing the changing needs of our community.
