North Texas Virtual Sip & Paint - 90’s House Party

On July 25 , 2020 The North Texas Membership Committee hosted a Virtual Sip & Paint – 90’s
House Party. All families were provided with a canvas and painting supplies. The theme was the
90’s Hip Hop and each participant dressed in their finest threads from this memorable decade.
Throughout the night a professional artist guided each couple on the techniques need to create an
artistic masterpiece. The collage of paintings is shown below. Additionally, the North Texas
Chapter had a surprise guest, R&B Artist “Taj” from the 90’s group SWV. Our celebrity guest
crowned the best dressed couple at the end of the night and engaged in a lively discussion with
our moms and dads. This activity provided a much-needed social outlet for our mothers dealing
with the unprecedent stressors of COVID-19.
