Section 7: ANNUAL PROGRAM PLANNING MEETING
In preparation for the annual program planning meeting the North Texas Chapter President
hosted a “Board Brunch” on Saturday, June 20th to outline the agenda and ensure the “unique”
virtual experience would be a success for all mother members.

On Saturday, June 27th, the Mothers of the North Texas met via zoom to share ideas regarding
the chapter business of 2020 - 2021. The session was facilitated by President Christie Smith and
100% of the chapter moms attended. President Smith presented her goals and introduces the new
theme for the 2020-2021 program year: “Discover the Beauty of North Texas”. Each executive
board member and committee member discussed the planned activities and operational structure
for 2020-2021 program year. The members walked away with a road map to creating a
stimulating and engaging experience for our Jacks and Jill with the unique virtual circumstances
of 2020. The meeting was productive and inspiring and created a strong foundation for the new
program year.

The 2020-2021 planning session is scheduled for June 5, 2021.
