Recent Chapter Accomplishments:
The North Texas Chapter is dedicated to strengthening children through leadership development,
volunteer service, philanthropic giving and civic duty. North Texas is committed to servant
leadership to our chapter, the region and the national organization. The Chapter is extremely
proud of the recent accomplishments listed below.
2019 Accomplishments, Awards and Recognition
• The North Texas Chapter hosted the South Central Regional Mother’s conference in July
2019 at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas, TX
• The SCR Regional Mother’s conference boasted 253 attendees
• IPP Fran Dillard was appointed by IPNP Danielle Brown to serve as the chair of Jack and
Jill University Leadership Development Committee
• IPVP Christie C Smith was elected to the South Central Region Nomination Committee
• Teen Sasha Wilson was elected Regional Teen Treasurer
• North Texas was recognized with the following awards
o Best of the Best Programming: Educational
2020 Accomplishments, Awards, and Recognition
• 67% of North Texas mothers attended the 2020 Inaugural Virtual National Convention
• North Texas was recognized at the 2020 National Convention to commemorate the
exceptional commitment and response rate of 89% in the 2019 Inaugural Jack and Jill
Census which produced incredible strategic and relevant data for the future of our
organization
• North Texas Chapter has pivoted to exclusively virtual programming in response to
global pandemic to keep our beloved mothers, children, fathers, and associates safe
• North Texas Chapter was recognized with a rating of Superior for the 2019 Program
Handbook
• North Texas Teen Sasha Wilson was elected Regional Teen President
• Outstanding Teens Awards
o Sara Powell – Freshman
o Sydney Wilson – Sophomore
o Sasha Wilson – Junior
o Anthony Onalaja – Senior
