ANUGOONJ – THE CULTURAL EXTRAVAGANZA More than 52,000 students of University Schools of Studies and affiliated institutes gathered
The Directorate of Students’ Welfare organized ‘Anugoonj-2020’ - the 21st during three days of the festival on the University Campus and participated with full
Annual Cultural Festival of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University from enthusiasm in various events.
February 17 to February 19, 2020 at the University Campus in Dwarka. Shri
Anil Sharma, Producer/Director Bollywood was the chief guest of the inaugural
function. Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Verma, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of the University
presided over the function.

KAVI SAMMELAN
Renowned poets such as Sh. Ashok Chakradhar, Ms. Jyotsna Sharma, Sh.
Vishnu Saxena, Sh. Pawan Kumar Dixit, Sh. Shambhu Chowdhary, Sh. Moien
Shadab, Sh. Arun Gemini and Sh. Gajender Solanki participated in the Kavi
Sammelan and recited their poems. ‘Shehar Dar Shehar’, based on ‘Jis Lahore
Nahi Dekhiya…’ by Asghar Wajahat was also staged.
