University Introduces Computer Based Tests
In a major examination reform, aimed at checking the shortcomings of
traditional OMR based tests already in use,
IP University introduced Computer Based Test (CBT) for admissions in 67
programmes for the academic session 2020 -21. Earlier, OMR based test was
in practice for admissions in all these Common Entrance Test (CET) based
programmes of the university. The university had a tie-up with ‘EdCIL’ for
conducting these Computer Based Tests. EdCIL is a well-known name for
conducting such type of computer based test at a large scale with accuracy.
To familiarize the applicants with the CBT mode, the mock test facility was
available to all the registered candidates. The mock test helped the registered
candidates to familiarize themselves with logging into the computer system,
going through the detailed instructions regarding the test, using mouse or
numeric keyboard on – screen (virtual0 for attempting calculation based
questions, scrolling down or scrolling up for the next questions, navigation
between questions, review and editing their options and submitting them.
University Observes National Voters’ Day University Celebrates Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti
The University observed the National Voters’ Day with full fervor. The students On the occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti, the University celebrated this
