Basic Cremation Services include private family viewing, same day gathering &
ceremony, cremation, followed by graveside, as appropriate, customary printed

materials and STAAB online obituary/media services. The viewing of an un-
embalmed body presents health and safety concerns for the client family, visitors, and our
staff. These concerns, including time, trauma, decomposition, autopsy, pathogens
and bodily fluids, limit our ability to perform all the tasks needed to prepare for
viewing. These tasks are to bathe, shave, style hair, restore, apply cosmetics,
clothe, etc. To uphold the sanctity of human life, the body shall be posed,
respectfully covered and, if selected, casketed for viewing.

Cremation caskets meet crematory requirements and are uniquely chosen to
reverently hold the deceased for the purpose of viewing and the transition from
the funeral home or place of worship to the crematory. Urns reverently hold the
cremated remains to memorialize the deceased. Urn vaults respectfully encase the
urn and exceed cemetery regulations for burial and provide long term security
and integrity at the gravesite.
