Isabella Moretti – Italy
Isabella first heard of Adhiyogi through a close friend who had met him in Italy. At the time, she was already planning a trip to India for her Yoga Teacher Training — but at a different school. They connected over Facebook, where she shared her plans and her yoga journey. Adhiyogi’s kindness and generosity in offering all the information she needed left a deep impression, yet her intention was simply to visit him for a few classes.
After completing her first TTC elsewhere, Isabella felt uneasy. She didn’t feel ready to teach and sensed that something essential had been missing from her studies. That’s when she reached out to Adhiyogi. The moment they met, she knew: “This man is no ordinary teacher. This is the guide who can complete my preparation.”
Her first TTC with Adhiyogi took place in Pune, India, where she lived in the same house as him. That experience was unforgettable — a gift on her spiritual path. She discovered the power of his Authentic Yoga System (Adhiyoga), a method with perfect internal logic that, once understood, became a profound tool for both study and teaching. His lessons were never predictable; one of his priorities was developing a focused mind, and he would test her attention as long as needed.
Limited by time and budget during her first training with him, Isabella opted for a 50-hour TTC, which they customized together. Every day brought new discoveries. She learned to listen to her body, observe from within, focus her mind, and stay anchored in the present moment. Adhiyogi’s teaching blended ancient tradition with modern understanding, deep knowledge, and constant refinement.
Years later, Isabella joined him again in Milan for her second TTC. This time, the topics included Adhiyoga Vinyasa, advanced teaching techniques, and a deep dive into Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras. As always, Adhiyogi tailored his guidance to each student’s needs, creating harmonious classes that still left space for personal expression. The training was more than professional development — it was a catalyst for personal transformation.
By the end, Isabella felt stronger, more confident, and deeply grateful. She had not only grown into a capable teacher but had also redefined her relationship with yoga itself. “Strength and growth,” she says, “come only through continuous effort and struggle. And with the right teacher, even that struggle becomes a joy.”
Her journey continued into a second Yoga Teacher Training with Adhiyogi in Milan. After this, she drove Adhiyogi to Grotolella village in Avellino, Italy. Here, Adhiyogi spent a good deal of time teaching her and her village crowd in various public locations. She was amazed by this act.
Later, she had the pleasure of hosting his training in her brand-new studio in Grottollela — a studio that was born out of Adhiyogi’s wise and broad-minded advice. She felt privileged to continue her growth under his guidance.
