 3.3 tatpaścānnādānusandhānam।
 3.4 tadeva haṭhayogadhyānaṁ rājayogaśca।
 3.5 haṭhayogādrājayogapraveśa: ।
After this, Nādānusandhāna is to be practiced.
That is the meditation in Haṭhayoga, also synonymous to Rājayoga. (Thus) Haṭhayoga (only) prepares for Rājayoga.
Once the Amanaska state is stable, the haṭhayogi perceives sounds that are internal to his system. This sound is called Nāda. This is a very important Milestone in the Haṭhayoga Practice. When Nāda is recognized, the practitioner should concentrate the Mind on this sound. This is a Meditation in Haṭhayoga. This is when the Rājayoga Practice begins. This practice, when continued sincerely and without interruptions, results in merger of the Mind with Nāda, called Manolaya. Manolaya is, in a way, the goal of Haṭhayoga which is to be achieved via Kuṇḍalinī rising, rather than via direct meditation as described in the Yoga
. That is why Haṭhayoga is considered a ladder to or preparation for Rājayoga. “ ” (Haṭhayoga is being instructed only for attainment of Rājayoga.) ...states Haṭhayogapradīpikā.
