Abstract

We live in a cold, heavy environment and space all
the time. Our spaces are made for practical and
logical use and are made from heavy materials
such as concrete, brick, and steel. It makes us
live with cold emotions and heavy worries about
living well in the near future while we live there.
If these things continue to persist, we will be
mentally exhausted. This project aims to improve
on today's problems described above. A solution
to solve this is to make architecture light. This
small teahouse is not made from heavy and cold
materials but light materials like wood and fabrics
to lighten people's minds. The site is Seongsan
Sunrise Peak, Jeju Island. It is an uncrowded city
with beautiful scenery, including the sea and a
vast lawn. It aims to evoke a sense of lightness,
providing a contrast to the heaviness often
experienced in urban environments.
