The Materiality

This project creatively utilizes the
practical features of the fabric. By
taking advantage of the rollable
nature of the fabric, multiple pieces
are arranged on the ceiling, each
with its own level of transparency.
This arrangement forms unique
patterns, allowing natural light to
filter through at different intensities,
creating a visually engaging effect.
Additionally, the rolled fabric serves
a dual purpose as a decorative
element for the building's exterior.
Beyond aesthetics, the rolled fabric
becomes a functional tool for adjusting
the interior space. The degree of
rolling is used to dynamically define
the boundaries of walls and ceilings,
adding flexibility to the spatial layout.
