The Development Process
Programmers work on workstation within an Integrated
development environment. This is very much an environment
that is focused on the programming language and helps to
check that syntax and logic are correct. However it is an
isolated environment and software which appears perfect in
this environment may not work in conjunction with other
modules in the real world.
