Causes of Problems
Another common cause of problems is waiting to test. A
programmer might finish a module and wish to move on but
they need to wait for sign off before they can start the next
module. If they have to wait for the whole application to be
deployed before they get sign off they may find themselves
hanging around because somebody has decided to wait until
someone else has finished before doing a test deployment. A
solution to this is an automated continuous deployment
system which does a test deployment every time a new
module comes in.
