Activation Profiles for Self-Signup with SSO integration

• For each tenant you can have multiple Activation Profiles to allow different users to be granted different access
and permissions
• During SSO setup you specify an attribute from the authentication source to map to the Activation Profile
Reference
• Create Activation Reference Codes to match the possible values for the mapped attribute and create Activation
Rules by mapping them to different Activation Profiles

Example:
• Activation Profile Reference is mapped to the
Department attribute from SSO
• Users with a Department of DevOps, DevOps-
Backend or DevOps-UI will get accounts created with
the DevUsers Activation Profile
• Users with a Department of IT will gat accounts
created with the IT activation profile
• All other users will get created with the Default
Activation Profile which is set Training
