Parameters: Behind the Scenes

 At deployment time all parameters for each app tier
are set as system variables in the userenv file on
the Worker Node for that tier.

 The location of the “userenv”.

 Linux Worker Node = /usr/local/cliqr/etc/userenv

 Windows Worker Node = C:\temp\userenv.ps1

 The values for the parameters are injected into
userenv file on all nodes of the app after the nodes
are initialized, but before any configuration takes
place

 Sourcing the userenv file will be necessary to
reference the parameters as system variables in
your scripts.

 Sourcing Command = “source
/usr/local/osmosix/etc/userenv”
