      CloudCenter uses Image
      Mappings to associate Virtual

      Machine Operating System
      templates located on each Cloud
      to a defined Image

           • Images are available to
              application modelers to support
              services to build applications

           • An Image is a logical pointer to
              one or more equivalent OS
              templates (cloud
              images/templates) on different
              clouds
           • There are two types of images –
              Base and Custom

           • Each cloud region must have
              Image Mappings configured for
              each Image you want to be able
              to use
