SE Responsibilities – Step 2

A. Order any Phones/Gateways/Switches or required upgrades

 Gather all license information about any CUCM they use today (seen next slides about migration)
 Don’t forget the Local DSP’s (for conferencing)
 SRST Requirements
 Understand the UCSS/Maintenance in place today
 Smartnet is required for all gear (including phones) for the duration of the contract
 If using alternate carrier, you will have to provide routers at the HCS Data Centers for the

carrier meet point and CTL requires Ethernet connectivity from the router

B. Bandwidth to the HCS (single or both HCS Data Centers for bandwidth)

 Bandwidth Tool is under development – get with the MSSC SE for your customer solution

 You WILL NOT have to order servers for the CUCM including peripheral
Applications co-resident on HCS Platform)

 You WILL NOT have to order End User Licenses – however you need to
know the user license types that are required for your customer.
