A city government IT organization needs to shift to a consumption-based service
delivery and chargeback strategy. Their costs are spiraling out of control and it’s taxpayer
money. IT organization needs to meet the service needs of 50 different city departments. IT
wants to offer basic infrastructure services, such as Microsoft Windows Server and Ubuntu
virtual machines on demand from AWS or Microsoft Azure clouds as wells a traditional data
center.
An electronics design software provider realized that The semiconductor design process
is complex and computation intensive and offering a SaaS version of its software making
their solution more affordable and more easily accessible. The company wants to create
instances of the software just for the duration of a customer’s project. To ensure a viable
delivery model, the provider has to be able to quickly deploy the software in a variety of data
center and cloud environments to meet the needs of its customers.
An independent software vendor (ISV) needs to simplify its development process to
enable rapid deployment of production releases to multiple data center and Azure and AWS
cloud environments. They need to deploy applications on demand as well as manage multiple
release versions for production in any cloud that its customers choose.
A Media Content Delivery Provider needs to rationalize its application portfolio and set up
a hybrid cloud strategy that includes five cloud providers and 24 availability zones globally.
The provider needs to migrate a wide range of applications.
