7- Information search strategies

When searching for information, it is important that you:
1- plan your searches. A lot of the information you first find when searching will
also need
2- Analyze The information you found.
3- Check The information you found critically.

4- Process & Organize The information before completing your
work.
5- evaluating The information you select.

The steps when performing online research:
• Decide on a topic.

• Break the topic down into smaller subtopics.
• Conduct a knowledge share with your classmates.
• Decide who is going to search for which information.
• Decide on keywords for searches about the subtopics.
• Share your results.

Note: Don’t use full sentences when searching.
