2- Computer Accessories

Mr. Hiebert uses some ICT tools to share ideas, such as:

                1- Flash memory.

2- Ethernet cable: a cable that connects a computer to a router.

3- Router: a device that connects a computer to the internet Via
                Wi-Fi or Ethernet.

4- Ethernet port: connects an ethernet cable, ethernet is more
                stable and faster than Wi-Fi.

5- External Hard Drive: like an HDD (Hard Disk Drive) but much faster.

6- HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface): a cable that transmits audio
                and video from/to devices.

                Units of measurement:

Bit is the smallest unit of data = (1 and 0)
Byte (B) 8 Bits = 1 Character (letter or number)
                        Kilobyte (KB) 1024 (B)
                      Megabyte (MB) 1024 (KB)

                       Gigabyte (GB) 1024 (MB)
                          Terabyte 1024 (GB)

Megabit per second (Mbps): used to measure the speed of a

              network or internet connection.

              Gigahertz (GHz):
measure the number of cycles your CPU (processor) carries out
              per second.

The higher the number of cycles, the faster the processor
