“Can I ask you a question?” Carl said to Jaxx.
“Of course,” replied Jaxx, “anything you like.”
“Okay, then,” said Carl, “here it goes. Why are you up here? I have seen your kind in
the jungle. I know most lemurs like trees and high places, but your kind like to stay a
little closer to the ground.”
“Yes, that’s true,” said Jaxx. “But I am different. I love very high places. I like to see far.”
“Me too,” exclaimed Carl, “me too!”
“I keep hoping that one day I might be able to see all the way to Madagascar.” Jaxx
continued.
