General Idea about the Chemical Reaction & Its Purification

1. One type of the reaction conditions is called solvent free, where at least one of the reactants is liquid and solubilizes the others beside its main role in
the chemical reaction.
2. So, we use this reactant in an excess amount.
3. Choosing the suitable condition for the chemical reaction is crucial.
4. Obtaining a pure product is a process called purification.
5. One of the simplest purification methods is differential solubility.
6. Differential solubility depends on the solubility of each material in the reaction mixture, we choose a solvent that dissolves all undesirable materials
(Excess unreacted starting materials + Byproducts) in the reaction mixture and leaves the product undissolved (solid).
