I was glad to get out
of rehab, but had concerns about being back home. BAYADA’s transitional care manager made sure everything was in place before discharge.
Respect goes a long way.
Having strangers in
your home is hard when you’re vulnerable.
But the respect that BAYADA Nurses have
for our home and their compassion for our situation instantly put
us at ease. Now it’s more like having friends over.

When I finished rehab, they gave
us a list of home
care companies to consider. My wife asked the rehab center if they’d recommend one and, without hesitation, the discharge planner said, “I trust BAYADA. Their clinicians are the best.”
BAYADA’s people are professionals. My wife worried about nurses being able to handle my specialized care, but the clinical manager, Terry, assured her that my nurses
have training to match to my needs. And it’s true— BAYADA Nurses are incredibly skilled and experienced.
I think they knew how good a match we’d be. My night nurse is a Beatles fan, too! We take turns picking out songs for sing-alongs. Last night she said, “After the accident, did they say you’d never sing again? Because you can...if you call that singing.” Only people who really get you can
joke like that!
