How to Nurture and Build our Brand
Despite years of great hope and promise, American health care leaves much to be desired—from scheduling appointments, to feeling heard and supported by busy, distracted medical professionals, to finding
a specialist, or mastering benefits literacy. It’s daunting in the best of situations. We’ve all grown accustomed to higher standards in other aspects of our lives— getting a car serviced, ordering household goods for same-day delivery, or comparing restaurants— but those standards
seem unattainable to the
disjointed, frustrating experience of getting the health care we need, when we need it.
Imagine a client in need of home care. This is not a purchase that you ever quite want or expect to need. So, there is rarely any proactive research done before home health care is required. The need is often sudden and comes when people are at their most vulnerable.
Without knowing how to decide on a provider, and with so many external forces— doctors, hospitals, insurance plans, families—shaping these decisions, clients often feel they have no control at a time when feelings of control and peace of mind are exactly what they need.
