7. Monitoring and Evaluation
Periodic monitoring and evaluation shall be conducted by the
University of Extension Monitoring and Evaluation Unit. The barangay
officials and women leaders are trained to be observant and analytical,
hence, serve as key informants of the program. The information is used to
supplement the results of the M&E. A pre- assessment is conducted before a
major intervention is undertaken, serving as basis for the assessment of the
project’s outputs, effects and impacts in the evaluation of the project. During
and after evaluation is undertaken with the barangay officials.
Experiential learning shall be introduced in this phase to strengthen the
action-reflection-action abilities of the officials.
