• Continuously evaluate suppliers and optimize the supplier base through analyses of their capabilities, quality
performance, delivery performance, price competitiveness, production rates and tooling availability.
• Ensure company procurement policies and procedures required for purchase order and subcontract terms and conditions,
re-determinations, contract terminations and supplier relations and negotiations are followed to maintain compliance
with all applicable Government laws including FAR, DFAR, DoD, FAA, and ITAR.
• Ensure the efficient resolution to all supply chain problems and coordinate problem resolution with all interfacing
departments to provide optimum production, quality and delivery of the Company's customer requirements.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
• Experience in successfully executing the job duties listed above.
• Aviation manufacturing or integration experience required.
• Military experience strongly preferred.
• A deep understanding of aviation Quality Assurance.
Additionally, it is desired that the applicant have above average computer skills and preferably have experience with inventory
management software programs, physical inventory practices, reconciling inventory discrepancies, and delivering a fully resolved
inventory file.
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. Master's degree in Supply Chain Management
preferred.
