Quickly and suddenly are adverbs.
adjective 十 -ly ―➔ adverb:

Adverbs tell you how something happens or how somebody does something:

hard fast late early
These words are adjectives and adverbs:
0 Sue's job is very hard. 0 Sue works very hard. (not hardly)
0 Ben is a fast runner. 0 Ben can run fast.

good (adjective) ➔ well (adverb)
0 Your English is very good. 0 You speak English very well. (not very good)
0 It was a good game. 0 O ur team played well.
But well is also an adjective (= not ill, in good health):
