                                will + infinitive (will be / will win / will come etc.):

                                                                                              be                                                                be?

                                'II  = will: I'll (I  will) / you'll / she'll etc.

                                won't = will not: I won't (= I will  not) / you won't / she won't etc.

                                We use will for thefuture (tomorrow I next week etc.):

                                       0 Sue travels a lot. Today she is in Madrid. Tomorrow she'll be in Rome. Next week she'll be

                                                                                                               .
                                       0 Don1t drink coffee before you go to bed. Yi You won't sleep.

                                We often say I think ... will ... :

                                       0 I think Kelly will pass the exam.

                                       0 I don't think it will rain this afternoon.

                                       0 Do you think the exam will be difficult?

                                We do not use will for things we have already arranged or decided to do 曰 Units 25-26):

                                       0 We're 2oi going to the cinema on Saturday. Do y ou want to come with us? (not We will go)

                                shall

                                You can say I shall (= I will) and we shall (= we will):

                                       0 I shall be late tomorrow. or I will (I'll) be late tomorrow.

                                But do not use shall with you/they/he/she/it:

                                       0 Tom will be late. (not Tom shall be)
