Jess Allen, walking artist in residence at Dragon Orchard since 2014, will use this walk through the orchards of Putley and along Marcle Ridge to the Wonder as a practical introduction to walking art; exploring varied approaches used by the many artists in this growing field, drawing from Jess’s own practice and doctoral research. Includes a brief talk, some simple arts activities and afternoon tea with apple juice and home-made cakes. Some steep sections and many stiles.
