Travel by narrow gauge steam train through beautiful scenery in the Bannau
Brycheiniog National Park on one of the most popular routes in Wales. One railway
carriage has been designed to carry wheelchairs, but cannot take motorised chairs
or scooters. There is an internal ramp from the booking office to the gift shop and
platform. The train stops alongside Pontsticill Reservoir and continues to Torpantau.

How to get there: Pant railway station is north of Merthyr at Pontsticill Rd, Pant CF48
2DD. Follow the train symbol on brown signposts from the A465.

Public Transport: Bus 24 (TC) from Merthyr bus station.
Parking: Free car and coach parking on site with disabled bays. The car park is a mixture
of tarmac and compacted stone.

Facilities: Licensed tea-room and shop at Pant Station. More facilities in villages nearby
and Merthyr.
