Walk 5 The Lonely Shepherd
In the next field follow the stream down; just past the cream coloured farm house cross the stream again

Continue along the road to reach canal bridge 114. Access to the towpath is by climbing down the stone steps built into the wall on the towpath side of the bridge on the right. (If you don’t like the challenge of these steps you can continue down the road to Crickhowell Bridge.) Facing the canal, turn right and follow the towpath, admiring the lime kilns on the opposite side just past the small marina, until bridge 116 G .
Follow the road down past the Old Rectory Hotel (option of a bite and a cuppa) to the Church of St. Catwg with its 12th Century tower, go through the Church lych-gate to follow the path through kissing gates and fields back to Crickhowell Bridge A .
